PRESS RELEASE: SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION AWARDS CONTRACT TO GNS, INC. TO PROVIDE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND IT SECURITY SERVICES

Rockville, MD – April 4, 2008
 

GNS, Inc., a leading provider in IT Security services, was awarded a SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION (SEC) contract to provide GNS professional services to address multiple FISMA, OMB, and GAO requirements.

The multi-year, multi-million dollar contract awarded to Global Network Systems (GNS) will address multiple information security challenges at the SEC. Under the contract, GNS will assist with improving information security programs, while also providing OMB oversight reporting and automating FISMA compliance.

GNS' Executive Vice President Peyman Goldoust stated, " We are delighted the SEC selected GNS to help strengthen its security program and critical FISMA compliance functions. The combination of our network security and program management expertise will enable the SEC to establish a state of the art information security program. The SEC information security team takes this mission very seriously and is working diligently to lead by example."

Global Network Systems, Inc. (GNS) was awarded a Department of Energy (DOE) contract to provide INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION (IV&V) SUPPORT SERVICES to the Office of the Chief Information Officer. The contract is valued at 3.5 million over the three (3) year period.

Global Network Systems, Inc., an IT solution provider, specializing in information assurance and systems integration services won an IT Security and Support Services under TIPSS-3 with Avineon team at Bureau of Engraving and Printing on a 5-year based contract. GNS will provide certification and accreditation support and security compliance monitoring support for new and existing major and minor systems.
